MEGHAMALHAR House wise singing competition for the academic year 2017-18 was held on 20th July in the assembly hall of GLOBAL MISSION SCHOOL.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Hardik Joshi and The Principal, Mr. Murugan Pillai with the lighting of the pious lamp.
The various houses from CBSE and GSEB (SECONDARY) rendered their impressive musical performance wearing colorful costumes and carrying umbrellas as props. The contestants showcased their talent and enthralled the audience with a flawless performance by taking them through the musical journey of beautiful rain. The highlight of the event was that it was raining outside while the children were exhibiting their choreographic performance.
At the end of the event, the 1st and 2nd prizes were awarded to MAHARANA PRATAP HOUSE and KALPANA CHAWLA HOUSE respectively. The judges for the competition were our very own accomplished music teacher Ms. Yagna Joshi and Shri Hardik Joshi. Before announcing the result, our guests honored us by playing melodious music on Flute and Violin.
It was an exciting moment for the parents of the contestants as well as the teachers in-charge who put in their tireless efforts for arranging the competition successfully. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal Mr. Murugan Pillai. He appreciated all the participants and the educators who made the event a huge success.
